Research in the Lander lab is in the areas of Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, Mathematical/Computational Biology and Neurobiology. For more information about research in the lab, you can view a research summary and list of publications.

Dr. Lander is currently Director of the Center for Complex Biological Systems, an NIGMS National Center for Systems Biology, and Program Director of an HHMI training grant in Mathematical, Computational and Systems Biology.

He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Cell Biology and PLoS Biology, is a member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation, and previously served on the Council for the American Society for Matrix Biology.

Graduate students in the Lander lab participate in one of several graduate programs: a multidepartmental Graduate Training Program with academic tracks in Developmental Biology and Genetics, Cell Biology and Neurobiology; a multidepartmental Graduate Program in Neuroscience; the Graduate Program in Biomedical Engineering; or the Graduate Program in Mathematical and Computational Biology.
